FORGOTTEN TALES…(1st POST)

Silence… eerie silence…dead silence… Only silence echoed through the great castle…through the halls…kitchens…the royal throne room…the divine temples of Surya and Shiv… The sigil of the kingdom… a golden sun …fluttered dully on the great flags outside the city gates. Even the huge statues of the legendry Suryavanshis were standing silently; just meager spectators of the doom that had come to their dynasty, their kingdom and the city of Ayodhya… the kingdom which was considered the most powerful in the realm…even considered by many of that time as the kingdom of God himself…undefeated, unconquered… by anyone in the universe…was in a state of turmoil just because of a WASHERMAN…a foolish…idiot washer man…!!!  The city had waited for a long time for the happiness…peace…and the prosperity that it righteously deserved… the people had waited and prayed ...

OUT OF THE BLUE… (2ND POST)

[The following story is a part of a series and thereby will make sense when read sequentially…that is post wise!!!]              “Will you just come out of the hiding for god’s sake”, he spoke. It was dark now, he was standing holding his staff; eyes closed his back towards her. The breeze flew through his face, rustling through his hair. “I know you are hiding behind the bushes and enjoying the show…for the past 3 days….you come…you eat berries and fruits you watch me till your heart’s content then go home and rest again to repeat the cycle the other day….making me uncomfortable and disturbing me all the same…” he sighed. The girl was aghast, he hadn’t  even turned his back towards her let alone see her…she was so sure of her abilities to move undetected, it caught her by surprise…after all she had taken great care not to disturb him by her presence… She crept out of her hiding place….few meters from him…her long fang ...

OUT OF THE BLUE… (1ST POST)

The sun was setting; there was an orange glare across the horizon. It was peaceful, almost divine. The birds were returning to their nests. The red sun was halfway set while other half still peeked over the majestic mountains. The forests were calm and peaceful, the grass, the trees, lakes, streams…even the animals were quiet.  Everyone except him. Beside the edge of a forest in some part of china, a figure was moving in the light of the setting sun.    He was too fast to be human… A wooden staff in hand about 5 feet long, which revolved around his body, now and then cutting the air and making ‘wooshing’ sounds. A rather dirty and ragged piece of cloth covered his body, it was torn in pieces… he wore a dirty cheap shoes made of cloth…they were also ragged and torn in places. Overall he seemed to be dressed like a monk…rather a shaolin monk…except the cleanliness of cloth...
